Concrete and Light

Shooting brutalist facades in overcast weather turns out to be the opposite of a compromise. Flat light removes the drama of hard shadows and leaves only the geometry, which is what the buildings were arguing for in the first place. These were taken over three mornings in the same square kilometre.
